PERSONAL ID
Essentially resting on a “catalogue of solutions”, we offer in-house production of specific hardware, in conjunction with the relevant I-SOFT ICNITA software (for entry and presence management, protection and security modules, vehicle and transport identification, etc.).
In order to adapt to the specific needs of each sector, we have structured our catalogue into six main sectors for which we have specific solutions.
CORPORATE BUILDINGS
(public or private)
UNIQUE IDENTIFICATION OF PERSONS
Everyone who uses the building has a unique identification item (with RFID system, biometrics, or others, combined together).
This identification item is used for controlling entry to offices, meeting rooms and other parts of the building. It is also used for controlling and managing the car park, permits for and management of photocopiers and other services, presence management. Heating/cooling and lighting energy control by linking their operation to presence, thereby offering clear energy savings.
INDUSTRY
MANAGEMENT OF PEOPLE AND VEHICLES
We identify each person and each vehicle in order to manage and control all their movements by means of entrance control and time-slot management.
We can find out where people are in cases of emergency.
Other options: control of rounds, visits management, and wall boxes fitted with RFID readers for exits from certain entry/exit points. RFID readers for forklift trucks.
TEACHING INSTITUTIONS
(Universities, Business Schools, Technological Centres and the like)
UNIQUE IDENTIFICATION
All centre users, whether they be students, lecturers or non-teaching staff have a unique identity item with RFID system.
This ID is used for lecturer-room, meeting room and offices access control; for control and running of the car park; control of permits for and charge of photocopiers, restaurants and vending, as well as presence management.
TRADE FAIRS, CONGRESSES AND BIG EVENTS
PERSONAL IDENTIFICATION MANAGEMENT
Each person carries an RFID identification having a format similar to a card.
The facilities are equipped with RFID passage antennae that identify the card without contact or vision, thereby allowing us to have a user-friendly identification process without any accreditation having to be requested, yet at the same time permitting all movements to be recorded and allowing people to be greeted on a special screen for the purpose.
INDUSTRIES WITH DIFFICULT-TO-PROTECT AREAS
SAFETY OF PERSONS (For example: recycling companies)
The operatives always carry identifiers (keyring or bracelet format) with active tags, and the press and recycling-machine zones are equipped with antennae.
When an operative enters a hazardous zone and the press is running, the press stops automatically (we link it with the machine’s own automatic mechanism and conveyor belts. We have installed redundant systems for regular checking, and constant procedures for testing the operatives’ bracelets).
HOMES FOR THE ELDERLY AND HOSPITALS
WITH HANDICAPPED PERSONS (e.g.: with Alzheimer’s disease).
We place bracelet-format tags on the various patients, and antennae at strategic locations (basically exits).
The presence of a patient at any of these points triggers an alert information bulletin (we have linked this to access controls, to internal paging systems and to on-screen warning systems, while there are also options for identifying carers, so that where a patient is detected with a carer no alarm is raised).
